1. Who We Are

This site (https://oliroarts.com) is operated by Olivier Royer (OliRO), a Québec-based independent creator and small-batch manufacturer. This policy covers the main website, the Card Forge web app, and our storefront for physical and digital products.

2. What We Collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site, the app, and order fulfillment.

Account & Login (Card Forge) When you log in via Patreon, we receive your Patreon user ID, membership tier, and basic profile info, never your Patreon password. This is used only to unlock features based on your support level.

Orders & Payments (Storefront) When you place an order, we collect your name, email, and (for physical products) a shipping address, so we can fulfill and communicate about your order. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processors (Stripe, via WooPayments; and PayPal, via WooCommerce PayPal Payments) and are never stored on our servers. Some orders are automatically screened for fraud indicators (see Section 4).

Cookies & Local Storage We use cookies and browser local storage to:

  • Keep you logged in (e.g., Patreon authentication)
  • Remember your preferences (layout choices, queued cards, cart contents)
  • Improve your experience on the site

Optional cookies (such as analytics) are only loaded if you accept them via our cookie banner.

Contact Form If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email, and message so we can respond to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide and improve the Card Forge app and site
  • Process, fulfill, and communicate about orders
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Payment Processing & Fraud Prevention

Payments are handled entirely by our processors (Stripe/WooPayments and PayPal), who are contractually responsible for securing your payment details under their own PCI-compliant systems. We never see or store full card numbers.

To protect against fraudulent orders, checkout may use reCAPTCHA (to filter bot traffic) and automated address/CVC verification checks. In rare cases this may flag a legitimate order for manual review. If that happens to your order, we’ll reach out directly.

5. What We Don’t Do

  • We don’t sell your data.
  • We don’t show ads.
  • We don’t track you across the internet.
  • We don’t store your personal files, images, or cards on our servers beyond what’s needed to fulfill an order or provide the app.

6. Who Has Access

Only the creator (OliRO) and the trusted third-party services needed to run the site have access to your information: Patreon (for login), our payment processors (for orders), and our hosting/email providers (for delivering the site and order communications). We do not share your data with anyone else.

7. Data Retention

We retain order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, comply with tax/accounting obligations, and maintain your app access, after which it’s deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Choices

You can:

  • Accept or reject optional cookies using the banner
  • Clear your cookies/local storage at any time to reset the app
  • Disconnect your Patreon access at any time via Patreon’s own settings
  • Request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal data by contacting us (subject to what we’re legally required to retain, e.g. for tax records)

9. Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site and services evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
